Two nights of performances in the UNESCO Lalibela Community Center. Large doors opened to the outside giving us natural light.
Dancers perform Sora, the traditional dance of the Lalibela region. LCCS performed for two nights.
Part 1, about Lalibela history with circus performers creating pyramids in the shapes of the local 12th century rock-hewn churches and traditional dance.
Part 2, the play about 'early marriage'. Up to 45% of girls are married before the age of 18 in the Amhara region of Ethiopia
